Our family and extended family were looking for a great location and one that could accommodate our party without feeling too tight. The Penthouse was awesome! It was spacious, had many bathrooms and was a short walk to the beach, grocery store, shops and restaurants. The host was super responsive, flexible and made sure our visit exceeded our expectations. We loved every minute especially watching the sunsets from the top balcony or watching the surf lessons across the street.

See all 43 photosThe Lele Penthouse is a spacious four bedroom two level condominium suite on a shared property with an open floor plan featuring high vaulted ceilings and large windows throughout allowing an abundance of natural light in. Two additional loft areas equipped with two queen beds in one space and a King or two twin option in the other provide comfortable accommodations as well.
Inside Lele Penthouse
The Penthouse offers 5 full bathrooms, 4 that have walk-in showers and one with a bath tub/shower combo. The Lele Penthouse also features 2 half baths, a large living room area, a sitting room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen. A wrap-around deck surrounds the ocean facing side of the penthouse including a BBQ and dining lanai, and a secluded whale watching deck on the loft level. Three of the bedrooms each have a private entrance to the pool area in the back yard. The penthouse will sleep up to 16 guests.
Each bedroom has two beach towels and each bathroom has two bath towels, two hand towels and two face towels. One initial set of travel size shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion are provided in each bathroom. Large travel groups can gather in the living room, family room and grand dining room. Dine outside on the lanai with a gas grill or enjoy sunset cocktails from the third level ocean view lanai.
The fully equipped kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, pantry, glassware, cutlery, dishes, pots and pans, baking trays, drip coffee maker, toaster, instant hot water boiler, blender, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Enjoy the conveniences of laundry in the suite with a stackable washer and dryer. Each bedroom, and the living room, has its own air conditioning unit for complete temperature control.

What guests can use
Lele Penthouse guests have access to the communal yoga studio, shared heated pool, gas grill, beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, and beach cooler.
The neighborhood
This villa is a tropical oasis only 50 yards from beaches, snorkeling and surfing. Shopping, restaurants, playgrounds, grocery stores, coffee shops, beach volleyball courts, tennis and skate-park are all within walking distance.
Things to do nearby
For the active and adventurous traveler, our prime location offers easy access to sunbathing, swimming, surfing, snorkeling, diving, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and whale watching. Also, a golfer's paradise with nearby world-class golf clubs less than 10 minutes away in Wailea and Makena. Restaurants, shops, nightlife, cafes, farmer’s markets, and Kalama Park are within a 5-10 minute walk from Wailea Inn.

Guest reviews
The location was great, exactly as described, across the street from the beach. The house was neat and clean with the exception of the rugs which were extremely dirty. After opening one of the bedroom windows it hung open precariously. We notified the house rep immediately who responded with they already knew about it. We had to call about a smoke detector randomly going off and the house rep immediately responded. Not all the toilets flushed well. A plunger was needed. All said, we would recommend this residence. It offers private bedrooms and bathrooms for a large group of people.
The space was great, visible wear and tear in the unit, but still very nice and clean space. My family of 12 felt comfortable. Be aware there are lots of stairs for guests that have those concerns. Fun loft area we put the younger teens up there. Interesting style design as doors have louvered do bedrooms and bathrooms. Location is great/central in Maui and close to Charley young beach. We really enjoyed the space.
