Great location, thoughtfully updated villas, great common spaces with great pool, bbq area, gazebo. Had boogie boards and surf boards available for the guests to use. Location wise, less than 10 min walk to Kamala Village, less than 5min walk to Charlie Young beach /Kamaole 1. But what's the best is that it literally has surfer's cove right across the street from the villas, and if you explore a bit more, there's a small cove beach to the left of surfer's cove that basically your own private beach and it's within 2min of stepping out the gates of the property. Amazing place, would stay again. Next time we'll try to get one of the 2 bedroom villas as one of the only downsides is the sofa bed was pretty small and not really that comfortable for 2 younger kids.

Inside Villa 9
Villa 9 is a one bedroom; one-bathroom standalone villa suite located a short walking distance of two of South Maui's most popular white sand beaches. Newly remodeled, and conveniently located, this 600 sq. ft. single story one bedroom villa offers ocean views, privacy and comfort set back in a tropical lush garden filled with mango and palm trees.
This Villa offers a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, private lanai, full bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a living room.
Sleeps 2 adults on a king bed that can be reconfigured in two twin beds upon request, and sleeps one adult or two small children on a full size sofa bed in the living room.
This villa is conveniently supplied with all of your travel-related “extra” needs such as an iron and ironing board, Tupperware, wine glasses, dishwasher soap capsules, beach towels, and a clothes drying rack for wet swimsuits after playing in the ocean across the street.
Basics such as plush bath towels, linens, kitchen rags, Nespresso and drip coffee machines, a set of travel size shampoo and soap, dish soap, salt, pepper, and olive oil are provided as well.
What guests can use
Guests have exclusive use of Villa 9, including the private bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living area, and covered lanai.
Guests can enjoy the shared swimming pool, two communal gas BBQ grills, and a complimentary washer and dryer are located on the property.
Two beach chairs, two boogie boards, a beach umbrella, and a cooler are provided for your sun-filled days at the beach.
The neighborhood
Villas by the Cove is located 25 feet from The Cove Beach Park, where guests can mingle with locals, take surf lessons, or body surf in The Cove's consistent small waves. Charley Young Beach, a long stretch of white sand ideal for beach walks and swimming, is another local favorite that's located at the end of the street, about a one-minute walk from the property front gate.
Things to do nearby
For the active and adventurous traveler, our prime location offers easy access to sunbathing, swimming, surfing, snorkeling, diving, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and whale watching. Also, a golfer's paradise with nearby world-class golf clubs less than 10 minutes away in Wailea and Makena. Restaurants, shops, nightlife, cafes, farmer’s markets, and Kalama Park are within a 5-10 minute walk from Villas By The Cove.

Absolutely wonderful stay at this spot. Loved the unit and the pool. The hosts thought of everything including beach chairs and a cooler. Highly recommended!
I will never stay in a hotel when I come back to Maui, and will always boom with Gal in the future.
