Inside Villa 8
Welcome to Villa 8, a beautifully remodeled one-bedroom, one-bath retreat just steps from two of South Maui’s most beloved white-sand beaches.
Inside, the villa features a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, comfortable living room, and a private lanai—ideal for morning coffee or evening relaxation. The bedroom includes a king bed that can be converted into two twin beds upon request, while the living room offers a full-size sofa bed suitable for one adult or two small children. The modern bathroom includes a walk-in shower for added convenience.
Villa 8 is thoughtfully stocked with all the extras that make travel easy, including an iron and ironing board, Tupperware, wine glasses, dishwasher pods, beach towels, and a drying rack for swimsuits after a day at the beach across the street.
You’ll also find everyday essentials provided for your stay, such as plush bath towels and linens, kitchen towels, Nespresso and drip coffee makers, travel-size shampoo and soap, dish soap, salt, pepper, and olive oil—everything you need to settle in and enjoy your Maui getaway.

Guests have exclusive use of Villa 8, including the private bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living area, and covered lanai.
Guests can enjoy the shared swimming pool, two communal gas BBQ grills, and a complimentary washer and dryer are located on the property.
Two beach chairs, two boogie boards, a beach umbrella, and a cooler are provided for your sun-filled days at the beach.
The neighborhood
Villas by the Cove is located 25 feet from The Cove Beach Park, where guests can mingle with locals, take surf lessons, or body surf in The Cove's consistent small waves. Charley Young Beach, a long stretch of white sand ideal for beach walks and swimming, is another local favorite that's located at the end of the street, about a one-minute walk from the property front gate.
Things to do nearby
For the active and adventurous traveler, our prime location offers easy access to sunbathing, swimming, surfing, snorkeling, diving, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and whale watching. Also, a golfer's paradise with nearby world-class golf clubs less than 10 minutes away in Wailea and Makena. Restaurants, shops, nightlife, cafes, farmer’s markets, and Kalama Park are within a 5-10 minute walk from Villas By The Cove.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful villa in Hawaii. The property was immaculately clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The location couldn't have been more convenient, with all the amenities, shops, and restaurants we needed right nearby. It was the perfect home base for our trip—we highly recommend booking this spot!
Overall a good stay we'd recommend, with a few expectations set up front. The location is the standout — walkable to the beach, park, and restaurants. The off-street private parking is a real perk in a busy beach area where parking looks challenging. It's also one of the few units we found with AC, which in Maui is no small thing. A few things to know before booking: the unit is in an apartment community vs. a single-family home, and the shared common areas were often busy with people and music — lively, but not private. The unit sits right by the community pool, so privacy is limited. There's no water view either. None of this made the stay bad — it was comfortable and the location did a lot of the work. Just go in knowing it's a compact spot in a shared, social community rather than a private retreat.
