Inside Villa 7
Villa 7 at Villas by the Cove is a spacious 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom Villa located just steps from two of South Maui's most popular white sand beaches. Newly remodeled, and conveniently located, this 600 sq. ft. single story 1 bedroom villa offers ocean views, privacy and comfort set back in a tropical lush garden filled with mango and palm trees.
This Villa offers a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, private lanai, full bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a living room.
Sleeps 2 adults on a king bed that can be reconfigured in two twin beds upon request and sleeps one adult or two small children on a full-size sofa bed in the living room.
This villa is conveniently supplied with all of your travel-related “extra” needs such as an iron and ironing board, Tupperware, wine glasses, dishwasher soap capsules, beach towels, and clothes drying rack for wet swimsuits after playing in the ocean across the street.
Basics such as plush bath towels, linens, kitchen rags, Nespresso and drip coffee machines, a set of travel size shampoo and soap, dish soap, salt, pepper, and olive oil are provided as well.
What guests can use
Guests have exclusive use of Villa 7, including the private bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living area, and covered lanai.
Guests can enjoy the shared swimming pool, two communal gas BBQ grills, and a complimentary washer and dryer are located on the property.
Two beach chairs, two boogie boards, a beach umbrella, and a cooler are provided for your sun-filled days at the beach.
The neighborhood
Villas by the Cove is located 25 feet from The Cove Beach Park where guests can mingle with locals, take surf lessons or body surf in The Cove's consistent small waves. Charley Young Beach, a long stretch of white sand ideal for beach walks and swimming, is another local favorite that's located at the end of the street, about a one minute walk from the property front gate.
Things to do nearby
For the active and adventurous traveler, our prime location offers easy access to sunbathing, swimming, surfing, snorkeling, diving, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and whale watching. Also, a golfer's paradise with nearby world-class golf clubs less than 10 minutes away in Wailea and Makena. Restaurants, shops, nightlife, cafes, farmer’s markets, and Kalama Park are within a 5-10 minute walk from Villas By The Cove.

This beach villa was beyond our expectations! We knew it would be beautiful but the experience was even better than expected. It’s perfectly tucked away from the town, yet steps from all the activities you could wish for: amazing food, beautiful sunsets, grocery, markets, shopping, all right there. Just outside the gate you can watch surfing in the cove, or you can even use the complementary boards to try it yourself! We came here for a weekend stay before a company retreat at the Grand Wailea resort down the road, and we wish we could have just stayed at Gal’s the entire time! 10/10 recommend!
I would 100% recommend to others! Exactly as described. Very nice and private stay. We enjoyed the pool area after long days out and about. The location is great in relation to the town but also in getting to other places on the island with a manageable drive. We loved watching the surfers across the street. There is a nice beach to hangout an easy 5 minute walk away! The room was spotless and had all of the things we needed during our stay. It was nice to have beach towels, chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler to make heading to the beach easy. Overall, it was a great stay, and the property manager went above and beyond for us during our stay.
