First off I want to be clear
First off I want to be clear. The unit is exactly as described. Super clean, updated with modern fixtures and very nice. It was as described. Beaches were close to walk to along with great food trucks near by. Our issues were outside of the unit. The building and surrounding area were somewhat rundown feeling. There were times where we preferred to be back before dark if we were out walking. The steep decline that you have to go down to park can get your bumper if you aren’t careful. We were in a small suv and scraped at the bottom. The last issue we had was with the neighbor leaving their door open and marijuana was heavily present every night. This is not to down Gal’s place. It’s to bring awareness when others are booking.
We really enjoyed our stay
We really enjoyed our stay. The Airbnb was centrally located yet quiet. The apartment was very clean and fully equipped. I’ve never seen such great amenities before. All the kitchen appliances and utensils were there, plenty of towels, great beach gear, and it was beautifully decorated. We’d come back anytime!

Gal was a very responsive host
Gal was a very responsive host. The location of the place was also fantastic. We were able to walk to beaches, coffee shops, grocery stores, and restaurants.

We had a great stay at Gal’s. The location was perfect being a short walk from the beach and restaurants. The included beach chairs, towels and umbrella were an added bonus. The place was clean and matched the pictures/description. Gal was nice enough to let us check in early and was very accommodating. I also really appreciated the washer and dryer. I would definitely come stay here again!
Loved this place
Loved this place! The location in Kihei is perfect. I especially enjoyed walking to breakfast at Kihei Caffe in the mornings and heading to Paia Fish Market for dinner in the evenings.
The apartment itself is stunning, well appointed, spotless and exactly as pictured. I’m not sure what magic was put into that bed, but it was a real challenge to get out of it every morning!
Everything you need is close by, which made the stay incredibly convenient. Some evenings I simply opened the large window, relaxed, and enjoyed a little people-watching. It was the perfect Maui stay. Would book again in a heartbeat!

Gal’s place was one of our favourite Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. We had a really great stay here - having access to laundry facilities was a game changer for us. We also really loved the bedding and linens here. The complimentary bag and water bottle left for us was such a nice touch - they were definitely used throughout our stay.

Great stay for a couple, we had blast. Very easy to get around town either walking or taking the bus if you didn’t have a car. Loved the location and the space. Would rent 10/10.
